I have known this man since 1982. He was born in his beloved Brooklyn in Feb. 1922. For many years I used his birthdate as my combination lock code 0-2-2-2.
He was a book seller with the legendary book man Lou Bender . Sal & I were on the road with American Ballet Theatre and other dance groups through the 80′s selling merchandise. I has been an honor to know him and there has never been a better cook or prouder Italian than Salvatorre Capozzuca!!! Love you man!
