Senior sports can be a fun way for seniors to stay fit and active. What did you like to play when you were in high school? What sport or sports did you participate in?Many people think that just because they are older adults that they can’t enjoy sports like younger folks. As long as you are cleared by your doctor for physical activity, you can rediscover your favorite sport. Sure, you won’t be quite as agile or quick as you were in your youth. But, that’s not the point. There is no reason you can’t have fun being active at something you enjoyed in your past.
As long as you are physically able there aren’t too many sports that you can’t do as a senior athlete. In fact, you don’t have to think of yourself as an athlete, just think about having fun and being active.
