At the end of my high school I had a GPA of 3.8 out of 4.0 and a Class Rank of 20 out of 450. My SAT scores are in the 1200s (eh I know)
My ethnicity is 7/8 Black or African American and 1/8 Native American.
I applied to 3 Ivy Leagues and did not get in. I took some time off because I understand the importance of getting into a good school. Some people said I put too much on my application. I am applying for
University of Chicago, UVA, and Notre Dame. Can anyone help me out with what I should do? I really want to go to University of Chicago.
I forgot to mention… my mid 1200 score is on a scale of 1600. With the new SAT I’m in the 1900s close to 2000.
In the end it really comes down to your GPA/ SAT/ACT score. That’s all the look at. And your essay / application of course. When I went to apply all they looked at was my ACT (24) and my GPA (2.8) and said no.
